STUDIOSTAND in TOKYO

The director of Studiostand Ltd has been a guest to the RIBA reception at the British Ambassador’s residence in Tokyo in Occasion of UIA 2011 TOKYO, The 24th World Congress of Architecture. At the same time Studiostand partecipated at the exhibition Japan home+Building Show.

Studiostand partecipated in the International Competition for the Information Pavilion Olympic Games- LONDON

The aim of this Competition is to design a temporary, free standing INFORMATION PAVILION within the world famous Trafalgar Square in the Heart of London during the 2012 Games.The competition hopes to achieve the following:

• Encourage and reward design excellence at a small scale which integrates function, structure, details and the spirit of the games.
• Research, respond to and highlight the unique aspects of designing an information pavilion that will be used by visitors during the games.
• Encourage the employment of sustainable design in all aspects of the proposal.

STUDIOSTAND in CONSTRUMAT_Barcelona 2011 - Architects + Industry

The stand and the program of events will show the added value that architects bring to the industry on the basis articulated two different approaches but also complementary. The COAC, is responsible for displaying products or building systems already on the market, developed by companies that have incorporated an architect in his research, development or marketing (Industry + Project Architects). The CSCAE will do the same task of collecting, but in this case the result of collaborations between architects, from the project or site manager , work together with industry to develop new products or building systems (project STUDIOSTAND + VEAM)

Inauguración Exposición de "Alberto Manovel y Charles Olsen"

"La obra de Alberto Manovel transcurre por los caminos de las mejores influencias. El ring donde Francis Bacon reivindicaba la deformación. Los trazos rápidos y florales del impresionismo de Claude Monet en su fuente original, el arte japonés; minimalismo y estallido de colores que dan fondo. La histeria de los trazos extasiados de Jackson Pollock y la carga social de los dibujos de Jean-Michel Basquiat que también admiraba a Pollock. El bouquete de Manovel trae flores hermosas igual que peligrosas, ramos de colores . Expresionismo abstracto, Manovel transita y siembra por un gran camino personal y desde aquí deseamos que el dolor no le sea indiferente y siga reverdeciendo su jardín. Quieres una flor?" Por Rye.
